"Computer Medics of Eagle River is amazing!

I consider myself to be quite computer literate. I have built computers, scripted programs and websites, and have my share of experiences with full system failures. I assumed local computer repair businesses were intended for the one-finger-at-a-time-typists of the world and before last week would have never imagined myself needing computer service help. I run my own photography studio and photograph everything from weddings to newborns. Since each moment I capture cannot be recreated identically, I am in the habit of backing up everything, twice.

When my business laptop blue screened while updating my phone last week, I lost everything. Not only did I lose everything on my laptop, but since it was in the process of updating my business phone, I lost everything on my phone as well. I spent all day and night attempting recoveries and repairs. When it came down to it, I could have tried to wipe the drive and reinstall everything fresh, but I was feeling unsure that I had EVERYTHING backed up and decided to let a professional attempt it.

I picked up my laptop this morning from Kendall Beckwith of Computer Medics of Eagle River. Everything is back as it should be and I didn't have to go through the hassle of reinstalling every program and copying everything back. I am back to work and so relieved.

The final diagnosis was a hard drive failure and I am lucky to have anything from the drive at all, let alone everything. Thank you so much, Kendall. I cannot even begin to fully express my gratitude. You guys rock!
